Where Do You Put Your Trust?

This morning I was reading about Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar. The king demanded that his counselors interpret a dream that he’d had, but he refused to disclose the contents of it. He threatened that if they couldn’t give him wisdom into this dream, he’d have them all killed. Their situation seemed hopeless. Daniel chose to take a step of faith and interpreted the dream for the king. Daniel describe the dream and revealed it’s meaning faultlessly – all to God’s glory.

The Lord directed me to James 1:5 EXB:
If any of you ·needs [lacks] wisdom, you should ask God for it. He is generous to everyone and will give you wisdom ·without criticizing you [without finding fault; ungrudgingly].

As I read the scripture, I heard the Lord say, “Will you put your complete faith and trust in me to bring about the final outcome?“ As soon as I heard Him say that, I thought about our family’s about an important decision that needed to be made. I asked myself: who do I trust in this situation: God or man? If I put my total faith, trust and confidence in the Lord in this situation, I know that He will use whomever and whatever is necessary to complete His plan.

Ask yourself: Do you put your trust in man more than you do in the Lord? He wants you to trust Him.
